MYPC Sponsored Walk
AEW are taking part in the Middlesex Young
Peoples Club Walk on Sunday 27th October. The walk starts at Perivale,
following the Brent River and Grand Union Canal, ending at Hounslow - a total of
8.7 miles.
This fundraising event is essential now to
pay for the mindless vandalism of our goalposts at our grounds at Hillcrest. We
would ask all Residents to be vigilant and report any suspicious
characters/actions to the Police..
Anyway the walk was an annual event for
our Club over many years and we do need helpers to walk with the children.
At the end of the 8.7 miles we all sit down and have a much needed hot drink,
hot dogs and chocolate biscuits.
As it is vital that we raise enough funds
to pay for 2 new sets of goal posts (approx two thousand pounds) the Club has
cancelled all games on this date so that we can all participate.
Please collect as much sponsorship as you
can and take your card with you on the day. Prizes are awarded to the leading
fundraisers.
GREAT WEATHER LOTTERY
Up to 10 grand can be won each
day but all Manny can manage is 2 quid. Can you do better? Pick your
numbers, pay you money and take your chance. Remember much needed funds
goes to the Club and you can make a few quid too. Good Luck.
